Brew at the Zoo to return to the Living Desert on February 9

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens will present their 10th Annual Brew at the Zoo on Saturday, February 9 at 6:30 pm.

The event will include 30 vendors representing many of the region’s finest specialty breweries, wineries, as well as other libations, including liquor and non-alcoholic beverages. For grub this year, The Living Desert is changing it up a bit, with 10 Southern California-based food trucks will be on hand to offer a wide-variety of gourmet street fare for purchase.

Also new this year, guests will be able to get high…on a hot air balloon – with tethered rides available for an additional fee – and those views above the Living Desert and South Palm Desert should be pretty rad around sunset.

Brew at the Zoo will also include four stages of live entertainment set throughout the park and what would a Living Desert event be without some animal encounters, amirite?

“Brew at the Zoo is one of our major fundraisers that people look forward to each year and we are thrilled about the new date, features and fun this year’s event will showcase,” said Dawn Petrick, Director of Park Services and Guest Relations in a press release. “By attending guests are ‘Saving Wildlife One Beer at a Time’ and supporting our mission of desert conservation through preservation, education and appreciation.”
