A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday after police sat he tried to kill his mom.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to Victoria Avenue about 9:40 am to break up a fight. Officials successfully intervened and left, but were called back an hour later, according to Z107.7.
Witnesses told deputies that Brendan Ellison choked his mother to the point where she said she could not breathe. They also said Ellison stated he was going to kill her and bury her in the backyard.
Someone was able to pull Ellison off his mother and when deputies arrived for the second time, they found him hiding in back of the house.
Ellison, 31, was arrested for investigation of attempted murder.
