One person is dead and three others injured after a two-car collision in Desert Hot Springs on Thursday.
The crash happened about 3 pm on Palm Drive.
We are investigating a major traffic collision on Palm Drive at Idillio. Palm Drive is completely shut down. Northbound at Idillio and South bound at Camino Aventura. Please find an alternate route of travel. Slow down and drive safe.

Once victim was taken to the hospital with major injuries, where they died, according to the Desert Sun. Three other occupants suffered moderate injuries.
