Beer & Burger Night at Tap-In Taproom
The bar inside of Whole Foods – yes, there is a bar inside of a grocery store – has a ton of great beers on tap. Every Thursday, they offer up one of those beers plus a hamburger and fries for just ten bucks all day (they do the same kind of deal on Friday too, but with Fish & Chips).

Total Wine Beer Tasting
With so many damn beers out there now, it is tough to choose. Luckily, Total Wine offers beer tasting every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday enabling you to try new beers without having to buy a 4-pack or bomber.
The state requires them to charge something, so they will ask for a nickel – with all the money from tastings going to charity. Tastings happen 1-7 pm on Fridays and noon to 6 on Saturdays. They also have wine tasting.

Jensen’s Beer Tasting
A second grocery store makes the list as Jensen’s offers up 4 or 5 pretty big samples of different beers every Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm at their Palm Springs and Palm Desert locations (sadly, not the minute shops). In addition to the beer, they also put out some snacks for you to cleanse your pallet between samples.
