A Palm Springs man was rushed to a local hospital after he accidentally shot himself in the leg Tuesday night with a handgun.
Officers, responding to a report of a shooting at 9:15 p.m. on Calle Abronia, found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his lower leg, reports the Desert Sun.
The man was taken to the hospital and, according to KESQ, is in stable condition.
According to the tv station, there was no one else in the home at the time of the shooting.
