A boxing match that happened at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio Thursday night has gone viral after a Mexican fighter knocked out his opponent who was wearing a pair of shorts that read “America 1st” and had a brick-wall pattern on them.

Rod Salka, the American in the border-wall shorts, lost to Mexican fighter Francisco Vargas by TKO in the sixth round, according to ESPN, following and uppercut by Vargas, aka “El Bandido,” in the fifth round that sent Salka sprawling followed by a blow in the sixth that opened a cut around Salka’s left eye – at which point his trainers threw in the towel.

It wasn’t the first time Salka has lost. As ABC News reports, he ran as a Republican for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2016 and lost to a Democrat.
