This winter, if you can even call it that, has been hot and dry and did I say hot already? But, change is on the way!
Finally, some changes are going to come next week, according to the forecast, with cooler temps and even a pretty good chance of rain.
Long Range SoCal Forecast!
Next week, the jet stream will dip Southwest then snap back up depositing a cut-off low which will tap into tropical moisture bringing the Southland (and the Coachella Valley) scattered showers late-Wednesday into Thursday.@KESQ pic.twitter.com/DWulw36qdC— Jerry Steffen™ KESQ (@JerrySteffen) February 9, 2018
Things will start cooling down on Sunday (76) then continue dropping throughout the week – with Tuesday and Wednesday expected to only hit 68 and 60 (nice!) degrees.
The best shot at showers, according to the forecast, looks to be Wednesday (60%) and Wednesday night (40%) – which all should be a nice relief as the week has closed out with temps at or near 90…90!!!…before the calendar even hit Valentine’s Day.
