The City of Palm Desert shut down a water play structure Tuesday at Joe Mann park because it is wasting water during California’s drought.
As KESQ reports, the city of Palm Desert has been removing water play structures from parks because the city “prides itself in being the pioneer for water conservation in the Coachella Valley”.
Joe Mann park is located on the eastern border of the city. To the west of the park are numerous, luscious, green golf courses that call the proud pioneering water-conserving city home…
Perhaps the city will allow Palm Desert kids looking for a way to cool off this summer to run through their sprinklers from time to time?
