Cops have arrested the man who they believe was the so-called “Snowbird Bandit” and he is a retired LAPD detective.
Cops took in Randolph Bruce Adair, 70, on Wednesday in Rancho Santa Margarita after several of his family members tipped investigators off to his identity (Here is guessing he was not sharing any of the loot with them).
Adair is the primary suspect in at least 5 recent robberies around Orange County. He spent 21 years as a LAPD detective until he retired on Oct. 5, 1988.
