A motorcyclist not only led California Highway Patrol officers on a high-speed pursuit throughout SoCal on Wednesday night, he performed tricks while doing it.

The chase started in La Habra when cops tried to pull over Phillip Resendez, 22, of Rancho Cucamunga, he fled and began putting on a show even going so far as to stand up on his bike while driving, at times, over 100 miles per hour. At one point during the pursuit, Resendez could be seen taking off his helmet to put in his ear buds (not sure what track just had to listen to).

Eventually Resendez pulled into a gas station in Ontario and surrendered to officers – but did not go down quietly. “Did he (police officer) seriously have to try and kick me off my bike?” Resendez asked reporters as he was walked to a waiting police cruiser.
