Two women were arrested outside of a Bernie Sanders rally outside of the Wiltern Theater after they refused to put their shirts on.
The women, who had messages written on their skin, were arrested about 7 p.m. when they refused to cover up, via ABC 7:
According to authorities, officers asked the women to cover themselves and when they refused, they were arrested for indecent exposure.
The women could be heard yelling “free the nipple” and “fight for gender equality.”
The “Free the Nipple” movement fights for women’s rights to be topless in areas where it’s permissible for men to be topless.
And after seeing a bright red, 80-year-old man running on Highway 111 with his shirt (legally) off today – I think these two have a point.
