While you were sleeping Wednesday night, winter happened all around Southern California.
Up in the mountains, they got plenty of the white stuff – with Bear Mountain Resort in Big Bear reporting about six inches of new snow.

It looks like there is even more snow on the way this weekend – but, if you go, be sure to bring some chains.

As for the desert, a little more than a 1/10 of an inch fell overnight. Not a ton. But, better than nothing.

Temps should be nice for the rest of the week, with the forecast calling for highs in the low 70s all the way through the weekend.
