Four people were hospitalized after they were shocked in a Palm Desert pool.
Authorities were called to the Marriott Shadow Ridge Resort about 4 pm Wednesday afternoon as two adults and two children had been shocked while swimming in the Chuckwalla Pool at the property, according to a news release.

All four swimmers were hospitalized with minor injuries. The cause of the electrical short is under investigation.
