The California Barbecue Company – one of the few restaurants on the planet with a perfect 5-star average on Yelp – is now slingin’ its delicious smoked ribs, tri-tip, pulled pork and more at a new location.
The man behind the California Barbecue Smoker, Reggie Martinez, has moved to Club 5 in Indio where he will be open noon to 9 pm every day but Tuesday (hey, a guy needs a day off, amirite?).
Visitors to the club will also be able to order late on weekends as Martinez will be serving up a special bar menu from 9:30 pm to 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Martinez also plans to offer delivery through UberEats and Postmates in the near future and, during the day, California Barbecue will do its own deliveries.
Barbecue fans were quick to discover California Barbecue Company when they opened up inside of the Red Barn earlier this year – but, according to Martinez, management of the Palm Desert dive bar decided to go in another direction. But their loss is Club 5’s gain, I suppose.
After a 2 week hiatus, Martinez reopened at Club 5 just in time for Labor Day Weekend. He’ll be serving the same menu as before featuring a selection of smoked meats, home-made sides, and sandwiches.
