Coachella Valley Wind-Up, an event boasting a shit ton of billboards (and even more mystery) to take place during Coachella Fest and Stagecoach in La Quinta, has announced its first act.
The website for the festival claims that Snoop Dogg and Friends will be performing on April 14th and 28th.
And while the thought of seeing Snoop and his friends (whoever they might be) perform at the old Sam’s Club building in La Quinta for $95 might be something up your alley, you may want to hold off on tickets – as KESQ reports that Saxony, the company promoting and hosting the event, still does not have all of their paperwork in order to be signed off on by the city of La Quinta to even have the event.
“They just need to show us their site plans, the traffic control plan, trash control, noise control,” Gabriel Perez, Planning Manager for the City of La Quinta told KESQ.
The website for Coachella Valley Wind-Up also notes that “5 World Renowned EDM Artists” are scheduled for April 21st – but they are not listed.
I have reached out to Coachella Valley Wind-Up for comment and have not heard back.
