After a couple of days with temperatures hotter than normal, rain is back in the desert and it looks like it’s going to be a regular thing over the next few days.
Palm Springs began getting some precipitation on Tuesday morning, much to the surprise of tourists:

According to the forecast, there’s a 30% shot at showers around the Coachella Valley throughout the day today (Tuesday), then it will clear out Wednesday before an even better chance at rain comes on Thursday (100% chance!), Friday night (80%), and Saturday (90%).

And it may not even stop there – as both Sunday and Monday are both showing a 40% chance of showers – which is fine, since you will be spending all day Sunday watching football and all day Monday hungover.
