The sun is out on Friday following one of the craziest, wettest days in the history of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. So how much rain fell? A lot.

Here are the rainfall totals from Coachella Valley measuring stations, according to the National Weather Service:
- Indio Hills: 6.73 inches
- Whitewater: 6.38
- Windy Point: 5.47
- Palm Springs Airport: 3.70
- Palm Desert: 2.36
- Desert Hot Springs: 2.13
- Cathedral City: 1.69
- Sky Valley: 1.64
- Thousand Palms 1.62
- Indio: 1.37
- Mecca: 1.18
- Thermal Airport: 1.00
The Palm Springs totals was so high that now, amazingly, the city has seen more rain this year than Portland.
The storm broke rainfall total records all over Southern California:
