Man accused of stealing a belt, threatening Yucca Valley Walmart workers with a knife

Police arrested a Yucca Valley man on Thursday after they say he shoplifted then cursed at and threatened Walmart employees with knife.

Store employees say they saw a man take a belt into the restroom, then exit the restroom not holding the belt, according to Z107.7. Employees checked the bathroom and did not see the belt in there. Loss Prevention employees confronted the man and he allegedly swore at them, pulled out a knife, flicked it up and brandished it in a threatening manner.

The employees let the man go. Police were called and workers identified the man as Donald Dora.

Dora, 34, was arrested later on Hermosa Avenue for investigation of armed robbery.
