One eagle-eyed passenger of an airplane high above Palm Springs is now looking for a handsome fella he saw mowing his lawn by posting on Craigslist.
The “Missed Connections” post (text below for those of you on mobile):
The post reads:
I was on a plane yesterday coming into Palm Springs airport. As we were on approach to the airport, I looked out the window and saw you mowing the lawn. I thought you were very handsome. I wanted to say hi, but I wasn’t able to open the cabin window. After we landed and got into my rental car I drove around hoping to find you so I could introduce myself but I really wasn’t sure where you were working. I’ll be in Palm Springs for a week and I’d love to get to you know you. Maybe we can go to Las Casuelas for a nice meal and Margaritas. I hope you see this. Tell me what airline I was on so I know it’s you responding.
There are a few things here that demand our attention:
- Let’s just be glad that he did not figure out how to open that damn window (and to what? Scream “hello”?)! And from the wording of the post, he definitely tried to (fear other passengers. Fear them!).
- Second, how the hell is the handsome lawnmower man (who was not looking up) going to know your airline fella?
- This guy really should have set up an itinerary for his vacation. Driving around aimlessly looking for a landscaper and taking time to post on Craigslist? Maybe in his next stay in The Desert this guy can spend some time on the tram or getting a date shake or something instead.
- If you are looking to get some, be sure to wear a hat with your phone number clearly visible to the planes flying high above
