Photos and Videos: Giant Dust Cloud Engulfs the Coachella Valley

Friday brought weird weather to The Coachella Valley.

A thunderstorm over Imperial County produced strong winds that blew dust around everywhere in The Coachella Valley and beyond.

Holy Haboob! Strong thunderstorms have been firing up across the Coachella Valley and the Imperial Valley this afternoon (thanks to moisture associated with Tropical Storm Dolores). One of the outflows from these tstorms spawned a haboob a little while ago. @stormy_fronts captured this epic photo from Palm Springs! Everyone should go follow @stormy_fronts. He's a fellow meteorologist holding it down in the Coachella Valley.
