Justin Timberlake is out of Coachella even before it was announced he was performing.
The singer has been cancelling / rescheduling tour dates this fall and today announced that he will not be performing for the rest of 2018 so he can heal his bruised vocal cords. Timberlake posted the following on Instagram:
“My vocal cords are healing, but they are not all the way back to normal yet, so my doctors want me to continue to rest my voice. They have asked me to hold off on singing until next month. I’m really sorry, I want to be back on the stage and I am doing all I can to get there quickly.”
According to Consequence of Sound, Timberlake plans to return to touring in early 2019, but sources told the website that his rescheduled dates will now conflict with Coachella’s radius clause – which would mean he is out for the Indio festival.
No word who the festival is looking at to join reported headliners Childish Gambino and Kanye West at Coachella, but we do hear McCartney is touring again – and he has April, 2019 wide open.
