A Tesla plowed into Mastro’s restaurant on El Paseo in Palm Desert on Wednesday.

The crash happened a little before 11 am, according to Cal Fire Riverside. The driver of the vehicle was able to exit the vehicle on their own and was not injured.
The vehicle went through a window and “landed deep into the restaurant,” according to officials. The restaurant was not open at the time.
There was no word if anyone else was injured.
