Viewers of the Food Network around the country are about to feast their eyes on a delicious dessert from The Purple Room in Palm Springs.
The restaurant’s Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake with Rum Caramel Sauce will be highlighted on the “Thanksgiving Madness” episode of Guilty Pleasures this Monday, November 16 at 10 p.m.
According the restaurant, part of the episode was filmed in Palm Springs a few weeks back and features the specialty dessert created by Purple Room Executive Chef Jennifer Town. The television show features Food Network stars like Guy Fieri, Amanda Freitag, Bobby Flay, Rachel Ray and others revealing their favorite guilty-pleasures around the country (hence the name of the show).
The episode will also include an appearance by Ross Mathews of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, Live from E!, Hello Ross, Chelsea Lately and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
This will be the first time a Palm Springs-based restaurant is featured on the show.
If you want to try the Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake with Rum Caramel Sauce for yourself, it will be part of The Purple Room’s Thanksgiving Celebration, a 3-course prix fixe dinner – and entertainment. Cost is $45.
