The FBI raided Palm Springs City Hall Tuesday morning shortly after 9 a.m. The feds told all employees to leave the building and to not take their cell phones. City Hall was also closed.

City Hall Update: City Hall employees have also gone home for the day

So it would appear Palm Springs city employees are getting: 1) a paid day off and, 2) no one can bug them with work texts and calls!
What a fantastic surprise (well, assuming you are not one of the people the FBI is looking into as part of their criminal investigation and you can easily get over your city being a bit of an embarrassment).
