Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, which only opened in Palm Springs in February, has closed its doors already.
The Desert Sun reports that a spokesman for the national chain of barbecue restaurants said that the location would have a new owner owner soon and then would reopen in a couple of weeks.
The restaurant was not off to the best of starts, averaging just 2.5 stars on Yelp. One reviewer called it a “a cluster f*** of a place” while many reviews criticized the location for running out of food items.
No word on how this affects the as yet to open La Quinta location.
