Remember how nice it was last weekend? Sadly, those days are over. The temperature has already risen by 20 degrees in the Coachella Valley – which will see the week wrap up with an excessive heat warning. Summertime in the desert is something, man. Â
High temperatures will be over 110 degrees today through Friday – with daily high temps going up a few degrees each day until hitting a gross 115 on Friday.

Due to the extreme heat, an excessive heat warning has been issued for the Coachella Valley and the High Desert Thursday and Friday – with the High Desert also seeing a warning on Saturday.

What does it all mean? Well, for one: DON’T HIKE!!!! Also just be smart about how you conduct yourself outside as this heat is freakin’ dangerous and be sure to keep yourself hydrated.
