One person is dead and another hospitalized after a car crashed into a block wall early Saturday morning in Palm Springs.
The crash happened at E. San Rafael Drive and N. Sunrise Way at about 2:15 am, according to the Palm Springs Police Department. Police say that the vehicle collided with the wall and the vehicle sustained major damage.
The driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger was transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a contributing factor for this collision. Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision or any events leading up to it to contact The Palm Springs Police Department Traffic Bureau at 760-3238125.
