A person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in the La Quinta Cove late Friday night.
The shooting took place on Avenida Madero about midnight, according to KESQ. Deputies arrived to find a victim suffering from two gunshot wounds.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he died from his wounds. The victim was identified as Anthony Carrillo, 19, of Cathedral City, reports the Desert Sun.
Anyone with information was asked to call sheriff’s homicide detectives at (951) 955-2777.
The victim was taken to the hospital. Their condition was not reported.
