Beaumont Police seized nearly 3,800 marijuana plants worth more than $11 million from two Beaumont homes this week.
A home on Third Street was found to have 2,864 marijuana plants with a street value of $8.5 million on Tuesday, reports KMIR. Police say the facility had been growing marijuana for about 6 months.
On Wednesday, police served a search warrant on Luis Estrada and found 927 marijuana plants worht $2.7 million. The facility had been in operation for a month, according to police.
Zhi Wei Ke, 51 of Los Angeles, Zhen Qiang Su, 46 of Alhambra and Jin Ying Chen 29 of Brooklyn, New York were all arrested for possession of marijuana for sale and cultivation of marijuana.
