2 arrested, 1 sought in Showgirls shooting

Two men have been arrested and police are searching for another in connection with a shooting in a Cathedral City strip club parking lot that left one man dead and another two hospitalized.

Manuel Adolfo Vargas, 30, was arrested Thursday in Indio, officials told KESQ. Christian Orlando Miramontes, 24, was arrested in Coachella on Friday afternoon.

Police identified Miramontes and Vargas as the gunmen in the shooting. Officials says that the getaway driver, 22-year-old Guillermo Gomez, is still at large.

Anyone who sees Gomez is urged to call 911.

Police were called to Showgirls Gentlemen’s Club early Wednesday morning after the shooting. They arrived just after 1 am to find three men shot. Jason Rosas, 24, of Indio, died from his injuries. Two other victims, ages 28 and 30, are continuing to recover at a local hospital. Their names have not been released.

Officials say the shooting was gang related.
