2 arrested after underground bunker full of $8 million of cocaine found in the IE

Two men were arrested after authorities found over $8 million of cocaine in an underground bunker in the backyard of a home in the Inland Empire.

Two men were arrested after a “substantial amount” of drugs were found in an older model Nissan Versa during a traffic stop on the 60 Freeway, reports ABC 7. The arrests led to a larger investigation and a search warrant was obtained for the home.

During the search, investigators discovered the bunker which was filled with 300 pounds of cocaine – which has a street value of $8.4 million, according to Fox 5.

The names of the two men arrested have not yet been released.
