Two men were arrested on Tuesday after police say they robbed a pool cleaner at gunpoint in Cathedral City.
A pool cleaner told police that two men stole his wallet and cell phone about 7:41 am on Avenida Diosa, according to KESQ.
Police searched the area, but were not able to find the suspects. Later, a vehicle believed to be the suspect’s was spotted in the Auto Zone parking lot in Desert Hot Springs.
Joseph Palomino, 25, and Arturo Colin, 21, both of Sky Valley, were detained at the store – with police saying Colin attempted to hide a handgun in the store before being arrested.
