The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has announced the rest of a man and a women after officials say they stole $1,173 in merchandise from a La Quinta store on Saturday.

Deputies responded to a grand theft in the 78800 block of Highway 111 about 10:30 am. Investigators determined that a male and female entered the store, stole the merchandise, and fled in 2017 silver Lexus.

The La Quinta Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation and determined the get-away-vehicle was a loaner vehicle. The investigation led the team to the 78300 block of Terra Cotta Court, where Omar Torres, 26-years-old of La Quinta and Gabrielle Boggs, 26-years-old also of La Quinta were arrested.
