Two Banning motels caught fire on Sunday afternoon after a grass fire spread to the structures.
The blaze was visible from the 10 Freeway.
The fire began as a grass fire about 3 pm Sunday, reports KMIR. No one was injured, but the Travelodge and Quality Inn motels were evacuated.
