It is a Tuesday after a festival weekend. That means it is time, once again, for the local news to put out the number of arrests at Coachella Fest.
Here is how the local news teams fed out the stats today.
The Desert Sun went with an “arrests increased” headline complete with a photo of a few thousand festival goers clearly plotting a crime or two :

KESQ opted for a more straightforward and honest headline:
A bit more people were arrested during the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, as opposed to the opening weekend. Police just released the stats.

By the way, the total number of arrests was 142 people or 0.14% of festivalgoers over all three days.
To put that in perspective, if one guy gets arrested after seeing a movie with 299 other people, 0.3% of that theater’s audience would have gotten arrested that day.
