Authorities have announced the death of a 25-year-old Redondo Beach man inside Joshua Tree National Park on Saturday.

Samuel Boldisssar was injured in the area of Cyclops Rock about 3:45 pm and died an hour later, reports the Press Enterprise.

No other information was released.

The area is a popular rock climbing area inside of Joshua Tree.
