Police arrested a man and a woman after he went into a Rite Aid demanding a “good-sized” bandage because she had stabbed him.
Gabriel Maldonado, 23, was inside the convenience store at 7:40 a.m. and told employees that Antonia Amaro, 25, had stabbed him on the left side of his stomach, according to Z107.7.
Employees of the store say that Maldonado was extremely angry that the store would not give him a “good-sized” band-aid.
Authorities arrived and took Maldonado to Desert Hospital.
Police then arrested Amaro at a home on 49 Palms Avenue for corporal injury on a spouse. Maldonado was later arrested for resisting an executive officer.
