Police are investigating the death of a woman they found shot in Indio on Sunday night.
Authorities were called to a home on Santa Rosa Avenue at about 9:15 pm where they found a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, reports the Desert Sun. Police performed CPR on the woman, but when paramedics arrived, the woman was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made, but detectives say they are following “several investigative leads.”
