Things kick off at 2 p.m. at the Palm Springs Swim Center, 405 S. Pavilion Way with a party featuring music, games and a large inflatable slide. The fiesta will run until the end of the fireworks show. Price to get in is 6 bucks for adults, 2 bucks for kids.
At 6 p.m. the Palm Springs Power will take on Southern Nevada at Palm Springs Stadium at 1901 E. Baristo Road. You can pay a few bucks to watch the game or wait until 8, when everyone can start coming into the stadium for free just in time for the fireworks at 9:15 pm.
You are allowed to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
