November is a rad month. Temps have cooled off, stores start offering some great deals, and there is holiday dedicated pretty much to football and turkey. This November, The Coachella Valley looks to be especially great – as there are plenty of fun booze-filled events going on.
Street
Despite what it’s name would have you believe, “Street” will actually be held on the top level of The Macy’s parking garage at Westfield Palm Desert (home of this evil thing that should have already been destroyed).
The event takes place on Saturday, November 7th starting at 5 p.m. and it is free to get in. There will be live music, craft beer & grub, and “art inspired by urban downtown streets and desert terrain” – to which, sure…whatever. Hey, at the very least, you can enjoy some brews on top of a parking garage – which you is something you don’t get to do (legally) every day.

La Quinta Brewing Co. 2nd Anniversary Party
The brewery celebrates their 2nd year in business on Saturday November 14th with a day filled with live music from 3 bands, grub from Big Easy Sandwich Co, and (best of all) they will be unleashing their Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout! The event runs 2 to 9 p.m. at their Palm Desert tasting room.

Indio California State BBQ Championship and Festival
Indio will be home to 50 of the best Pit Masters in the State competing for a $10,000 prize on November 14th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Sure, the barbecuers are competing for a prize, but the real prize is that you get to eat their tasty food! Plus there is live music, games and activities, and a craft beer garden featuring a dozen craft brewers. Best of all, getting into the event is free!

Blind Spirit Tasting
Sure, you like the sauce – but do you really appreciate how great it can be? Learn some cool trade secrets and go through a blind spirit tasting to learn to truly enjoy a great drink with Bootlegger Tiki’s Head Bartender, Chad Austin. You get to taste some cool stuff throughout the event, there will be savory snacks, and you get two bonus cocktails with your ticket. It all takes place on Sunday, November 15th at 1:30 p.m. Tickets will run you $53.74

Props and Hops
Beer and planes is a cool combo (well unless you are a pilot, I suppose). You can check out all kinds of awesome vintage planes while sipping on cold craft beer from dozens of breweries on Saturday, November 21, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Palm Springs Air Museum. There will also be food and live bands. Tickets will run you $40 – but you can grab a Groupon for half off here.
