5 Places in Greater Palm Springs to Grab a Slice on National Pizza Day

Pizza

It is February 9th – which means it is National Pizza Day!!!! (disclosure: I had no idea either – but hey, it is an excuse to eat pizza!)

Here are 5 Coachella Valley pizza joints to grab a slice or two:

Bill’s Pizza

A Palm Springs favorite, Bill’s let you order a full pie or just a slice – plus cheap drinks all day Monday (oh, if only every day were Monday).

Tap-In Room / Whole Foods

Unlike most Whole Foods Markets, Palm Desert’s location is home to a bar in the store! The taps are loaded with microbrews and some tasty flatbread pizzas on the menu. Not hungry for a whole pie? Just grab a slice from the store and bring it over to the bar.

Piero’s PizzaVino

Dine out on El Paseo without paying El Paseo prices! Piero’s dishes out delicious pizzas from a wood burning oven for lunch and dinner at pretty reasonable prices – plus the happy hour is legit.

Stuft Pizza

Stuft Pizza’s menu includes everything from a traditional Margherita to a meatball pie to a pizza scampi.  During happy hour, small pizzas are $2.50 off and you can get a huge, 25 oz. mug of  beer for $3.38.

Costco

While it is usually their hot dog & soda combo that gets all the pub, Costco pizza is not too shabby for the price, under 2 bucks for a slice and $10 for a whole pie (just beware, this time of year the snowbirds kind of take over the joint).
