Santa’s Hayride – Saturday

St. Nick will cruising through Indio accompanied by a fleet of decorated vehicles to hand out toys to kids. There’s still time to donate toys for the event and enter your ride (details here). The hayride will start at Muffler World at 82541 Indio Blvd. Indio at 5 pm.

More Santa – Saturday

It’s a big weekend for the jolly old fella as he will be making stops at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (Sat. 11 – 3am), The Living Desert (Sat. 7:30 am to 9am), and El Paseo (where your pet can take a pic with him from 10 am to 1 pm Sat.).

Gladiator Challenge: Seasons Beatings – Saturday

Well, if nothing else, that’s a hell of a holiday name for an event. Fights begin at 7 pm at the Show at Agua Caliente Casino – with tickets ranging from $45 to $150.

Mac & Cheese Beerfest – Saturday

Okay, so you are going to have to make the trek to Riverside for this one, but c’mon, it’s mac & cheese and beer, man. A whole festival for it! There will be 50 craft beers in all and 20 restaurants doling out different mac and cheese items. Tickets are $37 to $52 – but you can save a bit by grabbing them on Groupon or Goldstar.
