It’s one of the last few weekends for you to enjoy before everything starts to get super-crazy with the Holidays.  The weather should be nice and you have some good options to get out there and enjoy yourself in and around Greater Palm Springs.

Fitz & the Tantrums – Thursday

Your weekend starts early with a performance by the indie pop band in Cabazon Thursday night at Morongo Casino Resort Spa.  The show starts at 9pm and all tickets are $39. Update: the show is now sold out ????.

Veteran’s Day Parade – Saturday

Up to 20,000 people are expected along Palm Canyon Drive for the 21st Annual City of Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade.  Everything kicks off at 3:30 pm with the parade going from Ramon Road to Alejo Road, then followed with a performance the Palm Springs High School Spirit of the Sands Band at the corner of Palm Canyon and Amado Road.

Coachella Valley Brewing Anniversary Party

Our breweries are growing up so fast!!  Coachella Valley Brewing Co. is turning four and will be throwing a party on Saturday from 11 am – 10 pm with  live music, food, games, and beer specials – including tapping a new batch of Condition Black Imperial Black IPA.

There’s no cost to attend (but bring money for beer).

Anjelah Johnson – Saturday

The comedian makes a return appearance to the Coachella Valley on Saturday night at Spotlight 29. The MADtv alum hits the stage at 8pm – with tickets ranging from $35 to $55.

Uncle Kracker

The Spa Resort Casino is hosting a free concert on Saturday night.  Uncle Kracker hits the stage at 7:30 pm and there will be food and a beer garden.
