This weekend in the Coachella Valley is going to be jam packed with way too many people wearing visors – tennis time in the desert always does.  Assuming you have decided not to head out to the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens to take in a boring live sport, you might be looking for something to do.  Here are five things that might be up your alley.

West Side Story: In Concert – Friday – Sunday

You’ll hear the musical’s classic songs “Maria,” “America,” “Somewhere,” “Tonight,” and more complete with a 40-piece orchestra at the McCallum Theater. The show, which has performances throughout the weekend, is headlined by Matthew Hydzik as Tony (Broadway’s West Side Story, Side Show and Grease) and Ali Ewoldt as Maria (currently starring in Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera). Tickets run $47-$108.
