A woman was found dead in back of a Palm Desert grocery store Tuesday evening.
Police responded to reports of a woman down in the area and discovered Lynn Lavarini, 64, a little after 5:30 pm, reports KESQ.
Authorities are investigating but do not believe there was any foul play. According to KMIR, Coroner’s Sgt. Brent Seacrest said the death was “potentially heat-related – as temperatures reached 112 degrees on Tuesday.
