Future boxing Hall of Famer, Bernard “The Alien” Hopkins is coming to The Coachella Valley on Friday as part of Golden Boy Boxing at Fantasy Springs Casino. Hopkins, one of the most successful middleweights of all time, will be be in attendance to meet and greet with fans at the Special Events Center from 7 to 8pm
In addition to Hopkins meet and greet, there will also be a host of fights including a super welterweight bout between former world title contender Alfonso Gomez plus Japan’s Yoshihro Kamega and featherweight 10-rounder pitting Ronny Rios (23-1, 10 KOs) against Sergio “El Frio” Frias. Also on the night’s fight card is former Irish national championship fighter Jamie “The Nuisance” Kavanagh taking on Miguel Zamudio (29-6-1, 17 KOs) of Los Mochis, Mexico plus even more bouts.
Tickets are still available. Doors open at 5 pm and the first bell rings at 6. Tickets for the event, range from $25 to $45.
