A new radio station popped up on the radio dial in The Coachella Valley this week.
“Valley 105.1” debuted playing hits of the 60s and 70s – which, let’s be honest, thank God it is not yet another station playing nonstop Taylor Swift. Radio Insights has some details:
After testing/stunting with Christmas music, the new format is focusing on pop hits of the 1960s and 70s. KVGH is being programmed by Broadcast Partners’ Ken Moultrie. The new format will go up against R&R Broadcasting Oldies 98.5 KDES and Alpha Media’s Classic Hits “106.9 The Eagle” KDGL.
