The Coachella Valley was treated to some rare July rain this weekend. So how much of the wet stuff fell?
The combined totals from Saturday and Sunday, via The Desert Sun:
- Palm Springs: .33 inches of rain.
- Cathedral City: .16 inches
- Palm Desert: .24 inches
- Desert Hot Springs: .27 inches
- Indio: .48 inches
- Thermal: .60 inches
- Whitewater: .71 inches
Much more precipitation fell elsewhere throughout Southern California. Riverside Municipal Airport received a record 0.88 inches, Lancaster saw 2.31 inches, Kearney Mesa got 2.39 inches, and Warm Springs received a whopping 4+ inches of rain!
