“Jackass” star Steve-O has been charged in connection to an incident where he climbed to the top of a Hollywood crane and launched off fireworks earlier this month.
The charges via ABC 7:
Steve-O, whose real name is Steven Glover, was charged with creating a false emergency, use of unregistered fireworks, storing fireworks without a permit, possession of fireworks without a permit and trespass.
The first four charges carry a maximum sentence of one year in county jail and a $1,000 fine. The last count of trespass may result in 180 days in jail and $500. The fireworks charges also carry a minimum $500 fine.
City prosecutors will ask for restitution, but an exact amount has yet to be determined.
More than 80 firefighters, five ambulances and a helicopter were deployed during the August 9th incident which is believed to have been a protest against Sea World.
Steve O is due in court on Aug. 31.
