Getting to New York City is about to get a little easier for Coachella Valley residents.

JetBlue has announced non-stop flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Palm Springs International Airport starting on January 14, 2016.

The airline will fly routes 5 times a week, Monday through Thursday until May 1, 2016.

Flights from New York will leave at  7:45 p.m. and arrive in Palm Springs at 10:56 p.m. If you are flying from Palm Springs to New York City, you will take off at 11:49 p.m. and land at JFK at 7:43 a.m.

Seats go on sale today starting at an introductory rate of $99 each way – which seems like a pretty good good price.
